Guys which way does the main shaft collar fit, does the lip face up or down.

I've got the main shaft collar (110-138) with the lip facing down. Thats how it looks like it should go in the manual. I've had a number of flights with mine now and all seems good

You sure?

The side with the ring above the surface goes toward the bearing. It touches the inner race of the bearing to lock it.

If I'm wrong please explain why.

I popped into Skyline today and mentioned about this collar, Roger seemed to think that the lip should face up as well. I will be changing mine tonight....
