Ok, I know this question has been asked before but does anyone know where to get a scale body for a Voyager E? I can't find one anywhere! Nice heli to fly but it gets too boring after a while not being able to do full 3D with it.

Oh I fully agree - and had the same idea. Just recently bought the Bell 230 body, will post some pics when finished, mine took a bit longer, did not want to leave it white ground. Anyway in Japan there is many shops you can get it, other countries there is some, for example

http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/a...g/Scale_Jr.html for UK
http://www.mhm-modellbau.de/voyager_e.php Germany
www.hstore.com.au it isnt not on their site yet but if you email they can get them

US I haven't seen, but anyway in most cases they don't have it in stock, i.e. will order on request, also here in Japan.

Good luck !

cool website. I wonder if anyone has any scale fuses kicking around that they'd be willing to sell used? because 200 euros is a lot of $$$! are all scale fuses expensive like this? they look really nice though.

This has been shown before, but here is my VE with a Schweizer/Hughes style body. This is now available from Quick Worldwide. I also saw a while back in RC Heli Magazine that JR had plans to release the Bell 230 fuse in the US. It's currently available overseas.

wow, that's great ! Looks like you bought few parts more, than in the base kit ? How did you realize the bolting of the sides ? Prefer the skids, rather than the wheels ?

I didn't like the wheels - they didn't seem to be engineered to withstand a hard landing. The weel struts weere basically seated in flimsy basswood strips. It also didn't look scale.

The skids I used were from the JR Ecureil scale kit. I had tried to build that kit up several years ago but ultimately decided I didn't like the look of the body shape. The Bell 230 on the other hand is a fantastic kit.
