| Okay so i've finally had a reply from Synergy USA, which is probably because hes only just found the time to reply after dealing with all you guys in the states.
I'm not quoting from my email exactly but will paraphrase it in the same context as a neutral comment.
There have been 4 instances of the same problem that they know of but in all those instances the set screws were deemed to have been undertightened. A model has been flown with only one setscrew installed to test the design and no failure.
So either i hadn't tightened mine sufficiently, which i believe i had or i was unlucky, no need for comments ta.
I'm hoping that this finishes the debate now, we've collectively raised awareness at the very least, i've now had first hand experience of real synergy service, and i'm grown up enough to say i'm sorry if i've put anyones nose out of joint on this little issue.
Hopefully the hurricane will pass through by the time my N9 is rebuilt because i wanna kick its A55 across the sky and enjoy some flying again!!
