philsceadu.... this forum is not a means of communication for business to discuss problems with their products.....thats what phones and email are for. this forum is for discussion between modellers and they are not required to troll about looking for unhappy customers here. A responsible customer would first give them a chance to rectify any issues by contacting them directly.

well said daddiesyacht all that seems to be going on is bitching about models dealers suppliers i think alot of members expect too much out of these people they build there model in a rush too be the first at the field too have one crash it then slate the manufactures for bad design not sure about other people on here but my models never take too the sky untill i have someone else double check everything just in case i have missed something

CC for what its worth i don't fly my new models at the club field for these reasons

1. Its new anything can and will happen, i don't want anyone injured
2. I enjoy flying/practising away from prying eyes sometimes.
3. None of my helis are handbags, they are workhorses for me to improve myself in this hobby.

Okay so i've finally had a reply from Synergy USA, which is probably because hes only just found the time to reply after dealing with all you guys in the states.

I'm not quoting from my email exactly but will paraphrase it in the same context as a neutral comment.

There have been 4 instances of the same problem that they know of but in all those instances the set screws were deemed to have been undertightened. A model has been flown with only one setscrew installed to test the design and no failure.

So either i hadn't tightened mine sufficiently, which i believe i had or i was unlucky, no need for comments ta.

I'm hoping that this finishes the debate now, we've collectively raised awareness at the very least, i've now had first hand experience of real synergy service, and i'm grown up enough to say i'm sorry if i've put anyones nose out of joint on this little issue.

Hopefully the hurricane will pass through by the time my N9 is rebuilt because i wanna kick its A55 across the sky and enjoy some flying again!!

I don't think you put anyones nose out of joint Droid. And appologies are not necessary unless you have directly called someone a twat. Thankyou for posting this here. You could have left it and not put yourself out in the spot light so thats a stand up thing to do. Now the situation has ensured those that have read the posts will make sure that step is completed properly.
Enjoy your flying

Dial indicating the torque tube at both end is a must with a drive shaft tail....If not the machine will never be smooth.
