I sent this to Gohbee and David said he will work on putting together links or at least contact info to all of his dealers.
Good Idea.
Thanks

JP_ Signer give gohbee a chanve dude.
first off the parts that they seem to out most of the time are the ones that cross over to the stinger from the raptors, i think they have a hold on the needed parts for the stingers to keep them in stock, i know this because of my last crash and needed parts , a few were out of stock and i use the raptor parts AND the difference in the cost was like 50 bucks from the cost of the stinger parts that were out of stock. scott

Hey I didn't ask for this fetish.!!!But I'am sure paying for it....

The stinger interests me as well...but I won't be buying one until the parts support is beter. I may as well buy a raptor if I am going to be buying Raptor parts anyways...the main insentive to buy a stinger (for me)is lower crash costs...I find it unusual that Gohbee has not got a handle on it's parts stocking.. the heli has been on the market for a while now and good parts support matters a whole lot to me and many others as well.

There have been a few supply shortages caused by the raptor parts becoming unavailable and a sudden and unexpected rash of orders from people putting raptors back together with Gohbee parts.
Face it there are a lot more raptors out there than most if not all other helies. Gohbee is not yet big enough to supply all raptor owners with parts, with no warning.
Gohbee is now stocking at a much higher level to try to avoid this in the future.

I can see this...however how long does it take for Gohbee to get it's stock ?? They must have been able to forsee some extra demand from raptor users...it was posted by Gohbee themselves that they were interchangeable. They might make more $$$ from parts than they ever expected...good for them

I have been flying my Stinger 50 for about a year now. I bought it used and had some issues. Mainly due to the previous owners setup, or lack of setup I should say.

Its a decent flying machine. Its not as smooth as my Raven, but is very quick on the controls. It has some slop in the head. I have gotten some of the slop out, some of it returned. Not a biggy, but again not as tight as the Raven.

I swapped out a couple of parts , the fan and start shaft. The start shaft has been changed, shouldnt be an issue.

FlyingFool here and the owner David have been great help on several issues.

Its cheap to crash. I find myself doing all sorts of stupid things with it, because its cheap. It has greatly improved my skills because I am willing to take risks with it.

It autos great, even with Mavv 600's.

In short, its a cheap heli that does what it does fine. Its not an Aurora, but doesn't cost like one either.

Biggest downside is the people on here whining about it

Gohbee parts are not all compatible from the swash down. you must compare TT parts with Gohbee parts. I installed a 50 boom, and its slightly different at the tailgearbox. the gear box doesnt fit as snug as on the TT boom. It still works, but isnt exactly the same. i ordered a bunch of bearings from Gohbee for going through the bearings on both my 50 and 90. the main shaft bearings are NOT the same as on the 90 i found out. im now stuck with these bearings. the main shaft wouldnt even fit, so, im not sure what size main shaft the Stinger 90 has, but is smaller than the R90. luckily, i only used 3 types of bearings for both helis. landing gear is also differrent from the looks of it compared to TT, IE, slighly narrower skid base vs stock TT.

Im not bashing quality, just that stingers and raptors are not the same in every respect. I will continue to 'experiment' with Gohbee parts, but it would be nice if bearing sizes, parts compatibilty (mostly 60-90) etc would be updated on the Gohbee site.

same parts

thats funny i have two stinger 50s and a friend has a raptor 50 and the bearings in the blade grips and the main shaft bearings are the exact same part number on the cage of the bearing??????? i also used a carbon boom from tt on my stinger and it was loose on the gear box aswell.it might be in the molding of the plastic parts.
im not really sure about the 90s yet.

Identical and interchangeable are not the same thing.

Below the swash the 30/50 have interchangeable parts for everything that I am aware of. There are not many parts that are identical.

Above the swash there is very little interchangeable.

The Stinger 60/90 have a 10mm main shaft and the Raptors use a 12mm mainshaft. Compared to the 30/50 the 60/90 have a lot less parts that are interchangeable between the Stinger and raptor.
We only just acquired a Raptor to start trying parts for interchangeability on the 60/90.

May be a stupid question here, but all my heli's are electric so bear with me please lol.
What flight times do you guys get on a Stinger 50 using an OS Hyper?
Any idea on fuel tank capacity in metric?
Cheers

I am not sure of the tank size.
I get 7 min of hard flying with a good fuel reserve at the end.

stinger input

I have a stinger 30 with a os50 in it, metal head, and have tried both gear setups 30/50. The stock 30 gears are better, the heli is great to bang around and practice those 3d moves but it in no way will compare to a MA heli. It depends on what you want for crispness and feel or just bang around. The stinger 90 I have is allright too, but my x-cell (with a 91 now in it) is awwwwsom. My .02.......

i have a gohbee stinger 50, and love it. I have flown Century Falcon 50's for 3 years, then moved to raptors, because the Falcon's cyclics were a bit slow, but the Raptor was very twitchy and not very smooth. I moved to the Gohbee because I heard it had the smoothness of the Falcon but quickness of the raptor and parts availibility.

well I have to say this is my all time favorite heli. it is so smooth yet frols/lips faster then my raptor did. some complain of parts wearing out but as i have said in another post, building 101 says use loctite on all bearings mounted in aluminum. I have always glued in every bearing i use and never in 10 years of flying heli's have i had a part wear out because the bearing got loose. so far my only comlaint is i just don't like the swash but it seems to work. and I wish it had a better tail hub

Nice......!

I was wondering if you have ever gone the other route....
and used the servo braces (helpers) instead of going all the way...
with a push/pull setup? If you have...how did work?
