Hi

Really sorry to hear about that:-(

We will of course keep a eye out around here for it and if it by chance shows up at the shop we will make sure it stays here and contact you.
Would be nice to see a little justice happen to these scum but that's probably too much to ask for.

Cheers

Thats a real shame someones taken it. I'll keep my eyes open for it.
Make some colour photcopies of the heli and ask them to put them up in the local police stations. It may jog someones memory the next time the local thieves get a 5am morning call from police and its sitting next to their bed. Ive seen this happen to good effect recently..............
Hope you get it all back............Scumbags

I still dont understand why the scum steal helicopters, its not as if they are intelligent or disciplined enough to be able to fly one. Sorry for your loss, I will keep my ears open and hopefully someone will make it a temporary loss.

Ebay

Keep you eyes on Ebay for the parts...

I had helis stolen, never saw sight of them again, But the house insurance paid out for some nice new ones...so there could be light at the end of the tunnel..

The House Insurance & Car Insurance companies are all having a laugh !!!

House Insurance said that as it was stolen from Driveway, it is classed as a Theft from the Garden, which has a £250 maximum claim limit with a £50 excess

Car Insurance said that the maximum limit for Personal Effects stolen from inside the car is £100 with a £175 excess on my policy, so I would end up paying them £75 if I claimed

Insurance companies are all A-holes !!!

So I would definately 'NOT' Recommend "Tesco" Car Insurance or "Co-Op" house insurance guys......

I had 2 helis, 2 rc cars and loads of other stuff taken, although It was from my house, I was with direct-line at the time.

I thought as it is an object that is normally kept in your house and you take it out to use it (like a camera) you can claim

I did it on individual items, ie TX, heli, heli, car, car......and then listed all the items that were extras, the insurance Co. were then happy, the sent the list to a model shop (who sold hornby train sets!!) for price check,,, and I managed to get £3500+ out of them

Dont give up, insurance companies will do anything to get out of paying. My insurance only covered up to £500 per item, hence you need to split it out

good luck

Man that really sucks on ALL counts. 1) The thieving SCUM that stole the Helis in the first place. 2) The Thieving SCUM that took your money, and then say they won't pay out. Insurance is the biggest con in this country, and I'm afraid to say, Tesco is the worst. Sorry mate.

As you can guess, I've had recent bad experiences with thieving scum too. £800 worth of stuff stolen out of my lorry cab. I quit my job of course, but it won't bring it back. That wasn't insured either, funny that init?

My sympathies are with you RS, and I will keep my eyes and ears open for you

Tony
