Okay
Gentlemen and ladies
I fly a X-Cell 60 which has had multiple upgrades including a new Cabon fibre Tailboom, Carbon double tail braces etc.
This means that I can now run blades up to 690 mm.
I have a YS61ST2 engine with 7 tanks through it.
At the moment I fly NHP Sports of 660mm length but I am looking for a blade that gives me: No1 good autorotation, FAI type aerobatic type performance and has a realistic price tag (doesn't need to be goldplated or made in space under zero gravity conditions).

Due to my flying being rusty as in I just started to get back into circuits and fast forward flight (there was a long brake in between due to life getting in the way) I need a blade that will roll the chopper alright but also give me enough stored energy for fouled up autos.

Here in Aussieland I can get: SAB, NHP, Rotor Sport and Hi-Products.
The top ones I can get for sure and Sitar blades I think I can get.

Comments, sugestions and experience are highly apreciated and welcomed.

Actually you can run blades up to 700 MM if you limit the tail blades to no more than 100 MM. Miniature is selling the Pro III graphite blade here in the States for $90 to $100 retail. They fly very good and auto well. If you can get Miniature stuff at a reasonable price in Austrailia, they would make a fair choise.

Sorry for late reply
We are 12 hours out of wak with Europe and America which means that I usually don't see your posts until the next day.
Yep can get the MA blades here in Australia but think that they are a bit more expensive then the rest of the brigade. But I double check the prices.
I am thinking that a larger disk (blades) would give more stability but also detract form their aerobatic ability.
Am I wrong?

I am running the 3D version of the 700 MM Pro III's, they turn as fast as my 690 TG's or my NHP 680C's. All three sets are around 185 grams. The Fai version, in the 195 to 205 gram range should offer a littlel more stability, but still be fast enough to do all the Fai manuevers. As always, several factors are at work. Paddle weight, area and airfoile will contrbute as much or more to how stabile and quick the head is as the blades.

Thanks Dyehard
I will have a look at the Pro III FAI ones as the higher weight of 195/205 apeals to me.
I just took mine for another flight on monday to the field and flew some high speed circuits which worked very well but I am still worried about reliablility as quite a few upgrades have been made.
Done my 1st nose in hover at lower level (around 1.5m up and 4m out)
which turned out to be real easy espatialy since the wind was a little bit up and sometimes gusty.
My new engine YS61 ST2 is still running in and I am still working on the mixtures.
After the last flight a check showed the homemade muffler bracket had broken and needs to be redone.
I will use my father in law's milling mashine to mill one out of bar stock as the first one was bend by 90 degrees straining the material.
