e-HeliDirect Outrage - HDX 300-600 > HDX 300 Head & Blade.............Set up problem

I appreciate you pilots checking out my question. I have a beautiful Blade Cp with Hi max Brushless on my Hitec Optic six and it flys quite well and has for over a year. I just purchased a HDX 300 Blue CNC Bell Hiller head thats supposed to be for either the Blade or Honey Bee.Even with taking all the time I could and making sure everything is or seems to be right the Heli just Bops up and down like a potato Masher. I let a friend of mine take the same head and put it on his Honey Bee, He brought it over to my house and I flew it with no problem .it diddn't need any adjustment or very minor. I tried it again on my Blade and the same thing ..all over the place, and when I did increase the pitch to keep it up in a hover it was very erratic. So now I turn to my Brother RunRyder Pilots with more time under your belts than me to hopefully get me on track with this. Thanks

It is a tough one to get setup properly. Without a picture it's hard to say exactly what your problem might be.

The obvious stuff:

1. make sure everything is level at mid-stick (mixing arms, etc)
2. no binding anywhere
3. swash is mid-way up @ mid stick (check linkages)

If you can take a pic it will be very helpful to figure this one out. It took me quite a few tries to get the BCP to hover well with this "upgrade" but I did not have the bobbing that you are having.

My best guess with out seeing what you have is your headspeed is to low which might mean you pitch is to high slowing the headspeed.... Check you pitch at mid stick in idleup 1.. It should be a 0*

Tom..... No "D" flying....
