Are these things so good that everyones wants to keep them. I have been looking for a used one for a while. I have seen a few but all of them were a bit pricey. Is it worth it just to buy a new one?

i'm off to crash :)

I absolutely think so. I am very happy with my Corona. With the right setup and a little tuning you can have a great heli. It is also very crash resistant and you dont have to worry about bleeding off money to repair it like with many other helis. I would say go ahead and buy one, I am sure you will be happy. Just remeber it is fast pitch and not a CP, but you could always buy a CP head for it.

Yeah, I love mine. I also have a TREX, but the Corona is my favorite. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get a brushless motor setup whether you buy new or used. I have a brushed motor and I've already outgrown it....

Hey kirtdog,

I love these birds, the upgrades are limitless now with all the B-Tec items available. Anyway I have two of these birds and may be willing to part with one (with spare parts) at a reasonable price or maybe a trade. You can e-mail me (h20policeman@cs.com) or PM me and we can talk.

Thanks, Mike

From what I have read, these are very durable and can withstand a crash very well. The only thing I saw that looked bad was the boom strikes but I have seen different fixes for that.

i'm off to crash :)

hahaha... ya, you should never put another chopper in the same room as the Corona; bad things will happen to you.

The Corona is also great because you can start with 8 cell NiCd for mild flying and move to 3 cell Lipo as you advance.
