Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Will they keep making the EFX?

Will CX keep making the EFX kits now that the Aurora is coming out or will they go with the Aurora only. I have an Evo 90 I'm thinking about upgrading but don't want to if they are going to end production.

Don't worry production of the EFX and FX will continue. Most of the parts parts are used on the Aurora anyway.

Having checked CX website I can't find any info about the Aurora...
Is the bird alreardy being sold?
How much?
I don't even know what kind of engine should be put inside the lady (50, 60, 90...)...

Thanks Augusto. That is what I was wanting to hear. I'd love to have an Aurora but for my situation I think the EFX is the smart way to go.

What does the Aurora worth against an Avant EFX?

I was just starting to think that I'd better get an Avant EFX rather than a Stratus... now there's the Aurora... so we'd better wait to get its performance "deeply" analyzed...

the programmable head is $380

thats $965

the Aurora is probably going to be 999
and for that you get a ocmplete kit w/ new tialbox, cf boom
and any 2nd generation changes to the airframe

I said that I think the smart thing for ME to do would be to get the EFX. I have a standard Freya (60) and an Evo 90. If I convert the the 90 to an EFX I can use the spare parts for the 60 after a future mishap and maybe even upgrade it to a 90. If I get the Aurora, that's another 90 sized heli I have to outfit (upwards of $2500 flying). If you are in the market for a new high end 90 size heli or have bottomless pockets (or both) I think the Aurora will be the only way to go. But sense I don't fall into either of those catagories, I think the EFX is the best way for me to go, regardless of the performance of the Aurora.

So no added value in getting an EFX kit (added to a Freya Evo 90) instead of an Aurora... that still need to be checked...

After all none of us has flown both of them...

That said I'm just wondering what could justify the 600-700€ (the price of an Evo 90) differential

... the answer might simply be... nothing

You're right. The difference may be nothing. I only know that I can have an EFX much cheaper than an Aurora and use the Evo 90 parts that are left over.
