Women Pilots > Calling all women pilot and heli widows!

Hi All,

I am a woman pilot. I live in New Hampshire, in a remote area with few pilots around.

I am hoping having a women's forum would enable us (girls) to chat about our heli experiences/problems and lost husbands and significant others!!

I am making the grand assumption that I am not the only women pilot here, so if you are out there give a shout!!

Cheers,
Leslie

Hi Slider,

I know I'm playing to a small audience. But imagine if your wife or girlfriend suddenly got really into heli's.

What a concept, no bitching about parts bought etc. etc.

Cheers,
Leslie

Leslie,
It's the thought that counts ,be really nice to get our gals on board and this could be a start. I'll ask Carrie to share her experience hovering the blade cx.

Hi Arnie,

That would be cool. I did not know Carrie was getting into the flying thing!! Totally awesome.

Give it a couple days, until I pull all the arrows out of me I set myself up for this.

Thankfully, I have an extremely thick hide and wicked sense of humor.

Cheers,
Leslie

Hello leslie,
This is Carrie ,I was able to hover the blade cx the first time I tried it when we were down in Florida this past march. I haven't flown it since ,but I must say it was fun.

Hi Carrie,

Welcome to the den of testosterone... big smile here. Flying is a ball, I know Arnie is having a ton of fun with it. It's awesome that you enjoy his hobby too. At least to try it is neat!!

I knew from the pictures in his gallery that the whole kindred thing was going on You both are truly blessed!

Get Arnie to get you out on the trex!!

Glad to meet ya!

Cheers,
Leslie

chick flyers are awsome!!

Hello, I am a newbie, but I love the hobby, and I think that more women should get into it. It is a great way to spend quality time with your significant other, and well, if you practice, you can even be better lol.
