I'm just about to center servos and set up lower flt ctrl linkages on my Intrepid Gasser EB. Just waiting for Tx and Rx bats to charge. JR9303, 8311's-smallJR servo wheels. The manual mentions it's ok to use the JR small servo wheels. I've done so using the holes that are closest to the offset measurements noted in the manual but they are a little different.

Will the difference of Aileron & elevator offset between what manual says and the JR servo wheel have any detrimental effects?

Aileron offset.......Manual says 2mm actual servo wheel offset is 4mm
Collective offset....Manual says 4mm - no discrepancy
Elevator offset......Manual says 2mm actual servo wheel offset is 4mm

Below is a pic of hole location I used. Not to scale ofcoarse!

Rob ,,, you need to be closer than that or you will put a bind on the servo as this system needs to be pretty close to correct so there is no differentail on the push or pull sides. It don't take that much more to drill the holes in the right place and it will save a servo or two.
You can for a test bolt it up with the holes you have and leave one side off and run the servo back and forth and hold the other linkage up to the ball and you will see how much off one linkage will be from the ball as you move it back and forth to the end points .The correct measurement will keep the two linkages within a really close range of the ball at all times and you need to work with it until you get it really good .

going with the measurements

Learmd, Thanks for the link. I read it over. Larry thanks for the test tip. I decided to go the measure and drill route. I already had the spare large wheels from the LHS. Will make new holes to match measurements in manual. Drew up templates on a scrap piece of plexiglass. Will drill out wheels tomorrow.
