the only problem that i had with it is mounting the engine SZH in it cuz the shroud is 2 small for the engine

All Hirobo helis with C-Spec/SZ and the separate shroud needs them to be cut. It really isn't an issue. That shroud was meant for the old OS engines with smaller heads. No cutting is needed for the YS91.

Avant Forum

I would imagine Mark would grant you a dedicated Avant forum if someone would pm/email and ask. I asked for an F3C forum and he got it going within a day.

I can see why. I'm sure the blue is a PIA to see in certain light or angles. that just means that you have to fly it closer and lower to you.

How much does the canopy weigh? Did you weigh it before paint and after, just curious.

Yes, I weighed canopy before painting, but I didn't remember result. There was a winter.

I can say only one - difference was very small. Because I sended canopy before painting and used a very good paints Dupont. I will fly this season with such canopy and will repaint it after that.

Ok, I asked Mark. hopefully we'll get our own forum.

Btw, my canopy unpainted was about 175g and 225g after painting. Another had way too much paint & weighed 275g.

I thought the Avant was a Hirobo conversion, not a whole helicopter. Maybe it should go under a conversions page along with things like the Quick UK Raptor 90 conversion, Dyna X Millennium conversion, or just move into the Hirobo section. For sure it shouldn't be under new and emerging, its been around for a year or so.

hi all hope your all as happy as me with your Avants

bobj on hear (synergy flyer) set my engine up 2 weeks ago and sold me 12 gallons off magnum 30%, when he flow it i asked him how it compares to his synergy he said it was set up tame which i don’t think it is so when i can fly it a bit better i shall have to play with the head flybar setup yes i am on soft settings and paddle weights

so i shall be back one day to ask you all how you have set up your heads
