i have a laptop without a gameport so is there an interface which could used with fms and go into either the parallel port or usb port?

You can build the parallel port version, but have to run Win98 or ME to use it. USB is only possible with a 3rd party product of some nature (Ripmax maybe).

im not very good at making electronical stuff (besides helicopters ) so is there anywhere thats sells a parallel port version for JR that would operate in fms?

Recently I was reading a lot about the FMS interface since I'm looking for one too. I think it's better to use the serial instead of parallel port. Then it doesn't matter which OS your are running too.

You can find a lot in teh FMS forum about it. Besides there's a guy, Ken Hewitt, in th U.K. who sells kits as well as full assembled interfaces for little money only. He's latestes project is the USB interface. I'll attach both link for you.

You can also get one from www.simblaster.com . They also auction them on Ebay. The unit they sell goes into the joysick port, mine works fine.
