I'm looking in my POH and all I see is that the the main tank is 33 gallons and the aux is 19 gallons. Thats 52 gallons(51.3 usable) total at 312 pounds. maybe i'm not looking in the right place

This book is hard to read, maybe my dad can help me when he gets home or my instructor when I go to ground class tonight.

Well today I got another hour logged Today was a hover day and was really fun. I did left and right pedal hovers, pick-up and set-downs, and tried some quick stops. I've almost got the hover down to where I can stay in one spot for a long period of time. My flight instructor said it takes most people about 4 to 5 hours to do pick-up and set downs all by themselves while it only took me two i'm really happy about that


I'll try and take some pictures next time I go flying.

Well the weather has been real crappy the last 3 weeks and I haven't been ably to fly. Ground school has been going well and I only have two classes left to go to so thats cool. We've been going over alot of things in such a sort period of time it's crazy. This next week will be the end of ground class so that will give me more time to study on my own and to fly more often

Here are some more pics I took when I went to the pilot shop to get some things. What i've been told to get is a CX2 flight computer but not to sure if I really should get one I asked my flight instructor if I could take some pics since it was to windy today to fly so we drove out to the heli and took some pics.

You mean you live in Copter County, Nevada and don't recognize Sunrise Mtn (actually Frenchman Mtn) in the background to the east? Wassamadda, U??

Plus, an earlier pic shows Sheep Mtn (on the Nellis Range) to the north. That's gotta be North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT) at Decatur and Rancho.

yeah I wasn't sure which one it was... I thought he lived in Henderson, but the preflight pic looked like the NLV Field.
