Just come back from test flying my new Pegasus. Fantastic little heli' for the money. Came with 5 Futaba FP-S149 servos and a HLG 200 Heading lock gyro. Used to the 401 ans digi' set up on my main heli' so took me a bit of time to set up the HLG on the Pegasus. Once I'd done it the Pegasus flew like a dream. I'm very impressed, it's a fun heli' that I don't think is underpowered. It flew for around ten minutes on a tank of 15% Coolpower and goes like a rocket in forward flight. I would recommend it to anyone, not just the beginners. Think I'm going to upgrade it; It deserves it!

It definitely looks cool, I'm thinking of ordering one for myself. What is the pitch range on it? I know it won't 3d, but is it capable of inverted flight? Loops and Rolls? Seems like a fun little heli that'd be small enough to fly in the local park.

Not sure on pitch range, I'll look in the manual see what it says. I think it would be capable of a loop, there's plenty of power to build speed up in forward flight so, I reckon in the hands of a good pilot it could do it.

We undertand that factory the - pitch is only -3 but is there is a way of twiching it to get more negative pitch in order to fly it inverted?

Also, were can I see the manual on the internet? Or if any one have it can you scan it and send it to me by mail or just uploaded on you gallery.

THX,

Isaac

Inverted....

The factory settings are for general flying only, but we are in the process of "tweaking" the pitch so that we should be able to pull about 7 degrees of negative, and that should allow some nice inverted and gentle loops and slow rolls.... not 3D, but it should be a very capable little machine.... I am going to be breaking my engine in for awhile, but I will be looking further into the negative settings soon...
Love'n this little machine though.... very solid flight characteristics....

Ptich Range.....

I am traveling this week, but will be looking at this later in the week... I am pretty sure that I will be able to get the needed throws... the swash mix is only set at 60 percent so far so there is a pretty good increase available... just a matter of looking at and possibly changing a couple of linkages.... I will post later in the week when I get on it a bit..
Thanks, Stan

Back Up And Running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got out with mine yesterday and had a ball with the little guy!!!!
With the 470 blades it really likes to cruise around and is just an all around fun little heli....
No high $$$ machine to worry about, and just burn up some fuel and relax.... I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still working on the pitch settings so that it will ba capable of a few light manuevers, and then it will be set....
Having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stan

After reading the review in RC Heli magazine, I am considering buying a Pegasus (my first gasser). I learned on electrics (Hummingbird & T-Rex) so this question may seem dumb, but what kind of starter is needed for this bird? Is there an inexpensive and portable unit available?
