I also have one. I am waiting on my Phoenix 45 hv to come in. I will be running it with eccmp conversion, and the emoli 11s setup.

So far this is what I have.

Raptor 50 v2 with the metal head block and eccpm conversion
Hacker A50 S12
CC Phoenix 45 hv (on its way)
401/9253 combo
2 V28 packs (on its way)

I still need servo's and a light weight canopy.

What are you putting the motor in, a plank or heli?

wicked_n_raw,

Where are you getting the emoli packs from? I'm thinking about converting another one of my R50s with this motor and the HV45 with the emoli packs.

Stanc,
I find good deals on ebay when I do a search for milwaukee battery, or v28. What servo's do you have in your first e-raptor?

On the CCPM I have 9252s on the elevator, ailerons and pitch and the tail has a 9254. I use 2 - 2S 1320 mah TP Packs in parallel and a UBEC for the regulator, gives me constant 5vdc for the electronics. I can get 12 flights easy on one charge. I use 2 5S2P packs for the motor and a Jazz 55-10-32 esc. The motor is a NeuMotor 1912 1.5Y.

Your setup was my first choice, but then I read about the A50 12s and the CC 45hv and went that route. I may still do that setup in a evo conversion, if I ever get a evo...lol. I have a hawk pro that I was going to convert into electric, but I think I am going to sell it.

Are you leaving them in their original package, if not how are you going to charge them. I can't remember what the out come was on rcgroups about charging if they were rearanged from the original package. If left alone how will they fit in the Raptor?

Hey Stanc,
If you are talking about the emoli's you will have to take them out of the plastic, and solder connector wires, and cell balancer wires on them. As for the setup, on rcgroups they said that 7 cells in the front and 4 cells mounted high in the back is the best setup for CG. You can leave the 7 cells alone (besides soldering the wires to them) and just srink wrap them in their current setup. You will have to cut four cells off of another pack for the ones in the rear.

The emoli batteries are not the same battery as the V28 Milwaukee tool batteries. Those are lithium ion and the emoli is a new battery or at least thats what I got out of the thread.

I like it, what does it weigh? I fly with a guy that has a Xero-G nitro and it weighs pretty much the same as a stock Raptor 50, maybe a little less. I'm using TPPacks conversion with the CCPM upgrade on a stock SE, the weight is pretty close to a nitro SE. I need to weigh it and one of my nitro 50s to see how close they and maybe try to take some of the weight out.

The Milwaukee v28 are emoli's take a look.
http://www.molienergy.com/Press%20R...lease040117.htm

I talked a lot to Gary from TPPacks about seting up the A50.
cgbole, nice setup.

We can't use the box setup with the A50s (per Gary)!

I just ordered the motor, conversion pieces, CCPM upgrade and a 10S2P. I'm going to convert one of my nitro Raptor 50s. The eRaptor I have now was build from a new SE kit, that heli flies so smooth, if it had a scale body on it you would never guess it was a Raptor. It must be because of the electric and the CCPM. Gary has made the conversion a little bit more afordable with this Hacker motor.

Stanc,
You will not be disappointed with the setup. Do you know what esc you are going to go with? I also think the ccpm conversion is very smooth, and it looks like it was always apart of the airframe instead of a mod.

cgbole,
What is the cell count on your 600ep, and what kind of flight times are you getting?
