Video 101

1) Hold camera with two hands.

2) Brace elbows against waist.

3) Once camera is "locked-in" to your body only pivot with your hips.

4) No jerky movements...nothing deserves a "fast pan" unless something exciting is about to happen.

5) Don't zoom as much. People need a field of view to gain perspective.

6) Slow your movements and zooms down by at least 50%. Your body movements should feel like slow motion when you have the camera locked in and taping. Anything faster just promotes viewer discomfort.

7) Turn the auto-zoom off.

8) For static interviews etc. invest in a tripod. Check out Jeff's MHT videos...very high quality with similar equipment.

So far there where 4 crashes today at the funfly

one of them was a Raptor.90 did not know what the others where

Wow really good videos!

Ohhh I think I just found my favorite maneuver and it's the first time I've seen someone do it. (well at least I think) Anyways... Curtis was flying and he was doing a horizontal outside loop with backwards flight, then did a forward/backward roll and continued in the loop in fwd flight. Ya know which part I'm talking about? Very impressive flying! I can't wait to come out tomorrow and get to see it in person. The blade sound is awesome!
