Has anyone ever ordered a canopy from Just Canopies in New Jersey and actually gotten it? I ordered one in early October, was told two months to deliver and have not received it yet. Repeated phone calls have not been returned and the E-mail address appears to no longer be valid.I sent a check to cover it and it was cashed rather promptly, so if anyone knows Mr. Flint or has dealt with him in the past I would love to hear about it. Thanks

I've dealt with Mort Flint on many occasions. He's an honest guy and does beautiful work. He is a one-man-show and sometimes gets behind though. I suggest you give him the benefit of the doubt.

i ordered mine around the same time and havent gotten it yet either, but im patiently waiting. it should be worth the wait!

last month or so i guess there was a thread on this same thing, he had some health issues and it put him behind quite a bit.

az heli has a large wait list too, however when he quotes you a delivery date hes on the money. i got mine a week earlier than quoted, but it was still 2 months or so wait.

I received a call from Morton less than one hour after I posted. He is behind for health and other reasons but he assured me he will have it out by the end of the week.It sounds like he has also had trouble with one of his E-mail accounts.I feel much better about the whole deal. Truly amazing the power of this site. Thanks to all.

I waited a long time for my canopy, around 3 months or so, and it was well worth the wait. perfect paint job. not cheap, or fast, but worth the wait.

Just to clear up the air, I'm not flaming Just Canopies. As I stated "I have no experience with them". I just remembered a post where someone else was wondering what is up.

If you read through the post, you will se where the topic starter goes on to say:

If money was not taken to get put on Mort's list I don't think anyone would have a gripe.

His work is absolutely immaculate and stunning, I was lucky enough to get two of his canopies delivered............eventually.

However if you are going to take people's money with a promise of delivery in X amount of time, I personally feel you have a certain obligation to deliver.

If he just took a deposit to be put on his list, I don't think Mort would have so many queries.

Just my 2p worth.

Still no canopies

Can anyone give some feed back on Mort of Just Canopies?
My brother and I both ordered 3 canopies each (couldn’t make our minds up on just one each and seemed the sensible thing to do at the time) in mid Oct 2005.
My brother got an email from Mort 5 weeks ago saying the canopies are ready and after sending several emails since we have had no reply.
As I live down in New Zealand I am limited to what I can do regarding this.
I am sorry Mort, I am not trying to bag you on this forum but this is my last resort in trying to get in contact. If you could reply to the emails from New Zealand regarding the 6 Robbe Spirit LE canopies it would be appreciated.

I received a voicemail over the weekend from Mort. He said my canopy should be done by the end of the week. It sounds like he's working hard, so we just need to be patient.
