Vario XLV petrol trainer

it has the blades that came with the XLV. The t/r blades are 156mm.

The batt was charged before this flight. batt is an 3500mah 4.8v.

The tail drive is very all good. no slipping

gyro was in hh with the gain at 40% on the 9chp radio.

only other thing that I think might have caused this is that it was windy that day. I was flying down wind in about 15mph to 20mph wind. before this flight the wind was around 10mph to 15mph.

p.s. there is no t/r trim on the tx. trim is centered up.

I would up the gain on the gyro some, but that isn't the problem here. Those tail blades are certainly big enough to hold in a 20mph turn and the servo has enough power to shift them. Everything else sounds good, I hope you find something else.

Check your T/R Pushrod. The inserts came loose on ours. Maybe the JB Weld or Epoxy just broke loose.
