kirk; gorgeous picture. I was born and raised in colorful CO. but now live in IL. Looks like enough powder there you might get away with a soft inverted landing if need be.

Snow

We have had way to much snow this year, I think I have shoveled more snow this year than I have my whole life. We keep getting more and more each week which really screws with heli flying...

BTW I did test the powder later that flight. I belive my RX battery crapped out and caused some strange rx behavior. The heli landed in a pretty decent snow drift and was in perfect shape with the exception of a set of tail blades

Guess the snow is good for something

How to paint canopies?

Please forgive if this is off-topic, but HOW do you paint a canopy like that?? What tools do you need and what techniques. Maybe this should be a new topic somewhere on this site.

That is BEAUTIFUL. I'd love to have a canopy that looks that cool.

Sand paper, Airbrush, Paint, masking tape, hobby knife, paper. Thats the basics
