WOW..Im glad I stuck with this heli. This thing is freaking awesome. I did some great moves with it. It is my first nitro so I cant compare it with others but from watching others mine seems to hold its on very well. I did happen to have an engine flame out..so today was consequently my first auto! I landed it very well considering I was inverted when it flamed out. I have a question...what is the ideal head speed for normal and also for idle 1? Im using 600tt mains if that matters. Over all I just cant wait for tomorrow to come btw I now understand why bigger is better after coming from the trex. It is just so much smoother and larger and just awesome.

I tached mine today and normAL is at 1650 and idle up is at 1900...wow I have not flown 7 tanks since I started hovering almost 2 years ago.....still have really bad glitching problem I have checked all the screws as well as grinded the casing to the motor so it does not rub against the mount...only other options are the receiver or the Radio...any sugguestions..let me know, I changed the crystal and still encountered the glitching on ppm I have a pcm but would much rather hunt down the problem!

Im using a base loaded antenna and I dont have any issues. I've flown almost a gallon now and its been "hellacool" and Im loving it. I know this doesn't solve your problem just speaking my experience. Why not just change to pcm?

I have made 17 flights with my knight with no problem. No glitches.

On the link you can se how my antenna is setup. Just put it in a plastic tube along the shassie side. (like the caliber 30 and caliber 5)

I use a revolution whip mounted to one of the front canopy supports with a clamp. It goes into the front of the canopy and dosen't touch anything. So far so good.

I had a minor crash yesterday with my Knight where the tail blade hit the rock while landing. Tail blade was badly deformed and got a new pair. I am using Raptor 50 stock tail blade all the while instead of the stock Knight tail blade. For me, the stock Knight 50 tail rotor blade is not as rigid as the stock tail rotor blade.

Had my usual flight again this morning, tail went out of control suddenly after a few flips and I crashed it. Upon inspection, the plate which hold the rudder servo gave way.

So be cautious whenever the tail hit the ground. Always check the rudder servo locking plate.

okay I love the heli..it's by far the most stable smooth heli i have ever flown i a 50 clss. The Knight 50 flies like a 60 size machine, and smooth as silk. But the one problem I still have is a slight glitch., seems to happen as I do a turn left or right and usually into the wind, anybody have any ideas of what it may be, im runing a fm receiver but I am not wanting to go to pcm just incase of lockout...and answer would be helpful!

Mine did the exact same thing. When I did left turns into the wind it would glitch. Tried many things then I finally went to a PCM RX and that seemed to fix it. Been fine know for 50+ flights.

I'm really getting interested in this heli! I saw a couple flying last weekend and was well impressed. Nothing but praise coming through on here as well!!
Just wondering, how does the metal head and tail stuff hold up in a crash? Anyone damaged theirs yet? What about the alloy frame. Do they get bent easily?

As I had mentioned that I had a minor crashed.

Parts changed were the spindle shaft, funkey yellow main blade, tail boom, flybar rod and landing skid.

I was surprise that the blade grip and T-hub are not dented/bent at all but scratches all over. I was very amazed too when I found out that its main shaft is very very strong. Not bent at all.

There is 1 more silver plate which attached to the main blade grib was badly bent. Funny I do not know what it is called but I remember its part number, P/N: 02-0104. I just flatten the plate and reused it.
