| Schluter SX-81 NIB kits and partsHi to all of the Schluter flyers I have seen here. We may be a dying breed, but we ain't dead yet! I am a collector of Schluters for over 20 years, and have an extensive parts availabity of the SX-81, all of the bags I have being the numbered bags from the actual kit. I do have 3 complete NIB kits w/ cowling , and numerous parts to make up 'crash kits' if you may ding yours by some mishap. The only thing I do not have are the original Schluter boxes, which were destroyed in Hurricane Andrew when I lived in Florida. I am NOT in the business of paying for a business...I am just a serious hobbyist who trys to keep these things in the air. I have some parts availability for everything from Champions to Mini-Boys. Even an old Hegi Cobra, Gazelle, and DS-22. I do not sell any parts for Scouts, and am always looking for Scout stuff, since this is what I use for pod and boom as well as mechanics. If you have any interest in this, feel free to contact me. I will try to assist those of you who need odds and ends, unlike some retired dealers from the past who try to make a killing. Please put me on the list for a Cheyenne body. I was the guest of an Army pilot buddy at Ft Campbell, Ky, last week, and the 101st Airborne Museum on post has a real McCoy Cheyenne on outside static display. Very impressive! If you are ever in western Kentucky, the museum is open to the public. Happy Landings.... Joe in Ky |
