You'll also see that it tried to attack me at one point before the gear let loose!

Thru the camera, it looked like it wanted to attack me!

Hopefully next time it will be warmer than 15 degrees with the windchill, and I can do a better job of filming

I just noticed...

I've ordered the lighting kit from Starwoods and looking into a cargo hook so I can take E30TECH's cat for a ride

He was paralyzed with fear after reading that......

No wonder he hides from you. You can take the dog though

Still working on it. I've added more photos to my gallery. Lighting has been rerouted away from the muffler (DOH!). I'm working on the ballance but I have to wait until I replace the stripped gear before I can see what's what with that.

Stay tuned!

It's complete! I flew it through a full tank of fuel and was able to get it mechanically trimmed for a momentary hands off hover. It still needs some fine adjustment but so far it's flying better than I expected after so few flights.

Although I have the CG about 1 1/2" foreword of where the manual says it's pretty stable. I added about 6oz of ballast in the rear and adjusted the rear blade pitch 1 degree less than the front and this seems to be a good starting point.

This weekend looks like it should be good to take it to the field and open it up a bit. Here's the latest photo with the body mounted. Click on the photo and it will take you to a slide show with all of the build photos.

Thanks Doorman. It's just a little unnerving to fly with the baldes interweaving as they do. The sound in flight is quite unlike any of the helis I've seen. It should be a real challenge learning how to fly it well.
