a lot of the "crapbox" planes are AM but you're right... no telling what frequency, or band for that matter, he'll be transmitting on.

None of those RTF's, RC Toys or any other 27, 50 or 72mhz radios will bother the Spektrum. The Spektrum is on 2.4ghz frequencies. It cannot see those other frequencies

I'm worried that Horizon decided to fill all the LHS orders before mine... it still hasn't arrived !!!

When they make this where I can plug a module in the back of my 9C Super and use that I will jump in, I had a spektrum system in my rc truck and loved it, especially since there was a module I plugged in the back of my Futaba 3PK transmitter.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Its been suggested, and I agree, that they're targetting the park-flyers in an effort to reduce the potential of collisions between bonified flying areas and adjacent parks... imagine that

The big ones are coming. I'm sure of it.

Thank you for the first hand flight report! Did you get the heli out very far to try out the range? How did you like the S75 servos?

Thanks

Good Morning Mr. Shrader,
You have not received your backorder yet because we are processing backorders by order date. Yes it is true that many hobby shops have already received their orders. However, these hobby shops placed their orders at the end of October. Your backorder was placed via the web on November 12th. I do apologize any confusion and would like you to know that we do appreciate your business. Your order has been processed and our warehouse will be shipping this out to you today via UPS ground.

Sincerely,
Sara

I just picked up Spectrum 6 from Heliproz with a new T-rex SE that I am building for a customer. 200.00 for the radio with servos can’t go wrong. By the time you buy a receiver and servos for an electric heli you have two-thirds the cost of the complete radio package. So in reality you’re paying 60 bucks for the transmitter. I will spend the 60 bucks just for the experimentation of this new system. From what everyone has told me that I have talk with personally that owns one, they have nothing but good news to report. Some day everything will go in this direction (( I hope )) No more waiting on a frequency to fly.

Its nice to be the Big Dog.
