Nah, a Zagi can't be a real plane. Real planes crash, Zagi's bounce.

Geez I must be strange. I've been flying helis for about 7 months now and then went over to the dark side to fly planes. It's nice to have that choice: what mood am I in today? Anyone else do the reverse crossover?

i fly helis and airplanes, never tried to fly a planker though. really don't think that i have ever seen one with a good enough airfoil to overcome the wing loading.
now that i think about it, a planker probably can't be made to fly.

Aircraft or Heli's?

If It Will Fly I will TRY!!
I have been flying since 1969 and have flown everything from Electric Airplanes, Autogyros, Gas and Glow Aircraft, RC Rockets (What a Blast ) Electric Helicopters, Glow and Gas Heli's (Although untill October 2001 I'm Finally successful with the Gasser Vario) and even RC Cars and Submarines!! I Love this hobby and will never change! If you are not experiencing all that this hobby has to offer and sticking to one area then you are missing out on a great opportunity!

I'll fly anything I can get my hands on

Always try to keep a balance between the H's and P's with a few G's thrown in for good measure.

I'll NEVER give up that combating though, given the right conditions and a good bit of oppsition you really can't get a bigger buz - from bullet to zagi to predator to whatever else you can get your hands on and if they ever bring out an EPP helicopter I'll be the first in the queue - can you even imagine that??

Cheers
Richard.

Great stuff... it is the only thing we took down to the field and all plankers came to watch. They normaly hate us because of flying helis! What a surprice!!!

Inverted release looks great!

Yes I fly both helis and plankers as well. I have 1/4 Giles 202 and a BVM Maverick sport jet however both planks are collecting dust. I am flying the helis a lot more.

I enjoy flying both.

To me, it seems there's alot more variety in the airplanes side of the house.

If you wanted variety in helis, you gotta really shell out the $$$$.

I can buy 4 airplanes for the price of 1 heli.

I used to do, the inverted, cut the grass with my helicopter routine.

Lately, I've been doing the inverted, cut the grass with my horizontal stabilizer and prop on the airplane routine.

Fun stuff. Have you ever landed inverted with a plane? Comes as a shock! We had a guy attach wheels to the top of his plane so he could do inverted landings.

I fly both and find that both can be challenging. I have a 42% extra 260 and the new hanger nine 46% bipe. 3D with either fixed or rotor is still a blast.

cnat see what the problem is in flyin planks...I started off with fixed wing as thousands of otheres did, and then saw the challenge of helis...I still fly both and find it very relaxing after a earthbound suicide flight of the heli:P but I do enjoy both

I love flying both of them. It's all good!

I started with planes, and I will always fly planes.

Right now I have an R50 V2, a U-Can-Do 3D .46 size with a .65 in it, a shock flyer with a brushless setup, and I think that's all..

I love the UCD, I love the Rap, and I love the shocky. That's all there is to it!
