just wanted to share, i noticed the past few flights that my tiger was experiencing some runaway revs while doing some heavy collective inputs. in the past that was usually a worn out clutch liner or a defective one way bearing. what i found out was that the stock clutch liner was slipping in the bell. you may want to check this out if you are having similar issues. brian.

Brian, have you ever had a hot start that might have heated the adhesive beyond normal? I have three crashed Tigers from the fun fly season and one still flying. I'm going to check the three first because they're easy to do, and if needs be take the engine out of bird #2 to check it out as well. You are the first to mention this issue so if anybody else notices this as well, please let me know.

no hot starts on my bird and only one engine off minor crash. it could be that i have an unusually powerfull tt50 , or my flying style? wasn't a big deal, i just roughed up the bell and installed one of my ancient chinese top secret liners and all is well now. just wanted to mention. thanks brian.
