I guees these two guys dont't really care about the imotional stur they have caused by introducing the copter and then leave every one hanging,, they just don't care and that is the bottom line they just don't care about how you feel

Would you prefer that they released the heli with bugs still in it, or would you like them to take their time and get it right. Lets remember why they started this venture in the first place. They were tired off all of the isues that were out there with the curent day heli's. They are in there own words...

"The Synergy N9 design was influenced by over two decades of combined personal helicopter experience with various manufacturers. Each and every machine we have worked with has had great strengths and unfortunate weaknesses. In the design of the Synergy N9, we worked hard to combine proven strengths and eliminate weak designs. By inserting key innovative features into this proven combination of strengths, the Synergy N9 is an industry breakthrough."

That being said, GIVE THEM A BREAK. If you wait for it you will not be dissapointed

I will most likely buy one.

I really like the design and think that Jason and Todd want to release a problem-free machine. However, the marketing sucks as does their lack of communication.

When I first heard that they were going to design a heli I couldn't wait for it to come out. I even talked to someone who was going to sell it when it came out and requested he order one for me flat out. Then the waiting began, along with the no info on the heli/progress and etc. then the few videos that I did see were O.K. I then saw it fly in person and got to talk wit JK and TB at length about it and decided it was well designed and probably worth waiting for. This was back in Sept and was given a March time line. It's now almost mid-April and no word or updates on the progress of the heli. No updates on the website. What is holding it up? All anyone (at least those who are still interested in it)want to know is how are things going with the heli?! Are they waiting for canopies to be made? Probably not since Arizonheli is selling the canopies. Who will sell the heli? Why don't the vendors take pre-orders if the release is near by? why, cause they probably don't know when it will be out! At least with the Vibe when the release date was pushed back to Dec of last yr people were allowed to pre-order it when Dec came. I realize what they are trying to do and the fact they don't have the resources like an already established company. I wish them great success! NOW UPDATE THE DAMN WEBSITE!

It looks like you have the Ironbay regulator. how do you like its performance? Is the model you're testing the final version?

most of the time I use 20% CP red, only if it is hot outside 30%CP red

Most of us having different look to a heli, mine is in that way that the motor is the heard of the heli and I'm first looking at this components which are giving my motor a long life.
In that way.
Perfect tank system, no foaming fuel, also not during high speed hover.
Doesn't matter if the tank is pressured by the motor with high pressure by using a regulator like , cline, YS or Webra.
Or if with low pressure from the pipe.
In both variations test rpm was over 2000, it only starts foaming if lot to lean so that near no smoke from the pipe is to see and motor start predetonating.
A header tank is not needed for getting bubbles free fuel.

Good cooling system, the Synergy cooling system make it possible to let the heli run at straight fuel, if good fuel quality, with green CP I would not go under 5%.
Here with 1° pitch less, then I use with 20%CP, 3D is possible, not the brute one, but normal 3D all the day is long.

I spend not much time at head setting, only fly bar in, had a look at the distance on both sides, also done with the paddles, no special balancing, also main and tail blades on without extra balancing, yes and was really wondering because no vibs to see, not on the skids not on tail fin or canopy, complete vibs free, from low to high speed, very simpatico.

Flight characteristic depends from which blade you are using, so I took normal one, MAH, and not the new JK or Maniac from my friend Albert Fruth, but have them and will test them too.

So with the normal blades the heli runs more on rails as anyone I flew before with more specific blades, last time I was impressed like now, from the JR Superior 7 years ago, but he had not that fast cyclic response and running on rails.

With the Synergy I did my first inverted backward speed circle with near nothing on the sticks, OK I have to say that it is also the first time with a GY 611, but the 601 which I had before was also well and near nothing to do on tail.

I could tell you more but my work is done ,sun is shining and I hear the baby crying, sorry I will go out and have a wonderful afternoon and have a look if the snake which I'm learning to time is that easy to fly as big Ben and speed circle

cheers peter

3DPP,

Thank you for your great comments. I am eager to buy one as soon as they get it out. I have a spare YS 80 sitting at home. What are your thoughts about about a YS 80 instead of a 91?

I flew my Fury Extreme with a YS80 for about two years before swapping it out for a YS 91. It flew fine altho it bogged on tight maneuvers. I would imagine the Synergy might also react the same. I plan to run 680 blades with a YS 80.

Awesome...cant wait for mine!

Sharam, how has it been?? Flying lately? we rally have some crappy weather right now..

Anyways, i like the YS 91 over the 80 because its more powerful, and i seemed to get noticeable differences in flight times..My 91 gets 9.30 minutes, and the 80 would get 8.20-8.40 minutes of flight...This was done in the same machine..i just swapped out the engines
