both Ion and my fury conversion has the schulze 40-160 ,

649 bucks , it isnt cheap , but it the only one that can handle anything over 45 volts , CC is having to many problems still ,

Hi All

This is what I hear from my friend in the US the release date for the synergy might be May or June 2006. I know they want to make it perfect, but it will be in the middle of flying season. This project will pass 2 years when they announced it in spring 2004. I really can not wait until May 2006 anymore.....

I have been holding off on another 90 size purchase but really don't want to wait any longer.

May just have to go with a Stratus.

I hope it goes well but I'm not waiting for it either. They announced their design goals very early and it seems more than one company has managed to produce a product with many of the same design goals before this one even went into production. Plus Szabo puts on a killer show with a now old and less exotic design so I don't need a Synergy, just a cheap poster on the wall that says "it's the pilot stupid".

rappyfly how reliable do you think this information is? rumours are just that. So is it from close to the horses mouth? it has been indicated to me in the UK that it will be January or feb, possibly to encourage people to keep waiting.
Like you others I am not keen on waiting that long, and may write it off for the 2006 season. Lack of reliable information did JR no favours with the Vibe.
Why would it be another six months away if it is already in production as I thought it said on the Synergy web site?
You might want a Stratus but where do you get one from all the places i've looked are out of stock with a long wait indicated.
Is it a conspiracy I wonder?

The answer we got at ircha (Mid August ): Dec 05 or Jan 06, East Coast Fun Fly (end of Sept): Feb or March 06. I really hope the responses ,we had, are not true and kit will be out by Jan or Feb.

My friend sent a PM to one of the heli shop we deal yesterday and want to add to the order list. The mail came back with the "LOL!! May or June" Since he is the dealer, so his info might be more accurate.

I keep holding off on the new heli purchase since my MA heli went down like Kamikaze.

and end up fly 5 year old R60. I will get an Avant if it is available as a kit when synergy is not out by April, otherwise I will get another R90 for 2006.

For the rumor mongers, I talked to both Todd & Jason today. They authorized me to post the gist of my conversations with them. As of now, they are on target for March 2006. Everything that's not completely ready is in production, so they are at the mercy of manufacturers. Soon they will have all parts, distribute kits to a limited number of experienced 3D pilots to flog, and assuming no major problems should be on the streets and in dealers in March.

hmm.

I had heard that parts of the bird are made from Align. Not sure if and what parts or even if its true. plastic or of the head. I really like some of the other 90's out there, but if you look at the bird up close looks like a culmination of all the good parts off other helis.

I agree it is a little painfull to sit here and wait and be told its later and later, but what do you do...Like at a resteraunt you have heard nothing but good about yet there is a long wait...you still wait right...and still enjoy....I will wait. Two bird already in the stable..

I'm waiting also..i have all the electronics for it..just need the heli. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait...plus all your flying buddy's will just stare at youl when you pull the synergy out of your car

Could someone recommend a good servo for the mechanics. I dont mean to highjack the thread on bell crank gemoetry, but it does look like any slop would be amplified into the mechanics and up to swash..
