Hey evryone,

Just bought a second hand Tiger. I've been looking at one for about four months now. I was going to buy a new kit but this fellow was thinning down his fleet. Has 5 flights on it and with the money I saved I can get some electronics right away. Really looking forward to getting it and building it up.

This is my first nitro so will more than likely be looking for advise and help sorting things out. Have been flying my TRex for about a year now and love it. Time for something bigger to handle the wind though.

Just thought I'd share the news and say hi to this forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I'll be sure to ask any questions. I'm sure there'll be lots.

Slowly building up the parts. Have the cyclic, collective and throttle servos, gyro and tail servo. Now I'll have to get a motor and pipe. Leaning towards the OS 50 Hyper and the Audacity pipe. Still some research to do. Noticed that a lot of pictures of the Tiger I see there is no header tank. Any reason for this?

Still lots of reading to do. lol Big difference between electric and nitro.

You got a super sweet machine!!! I love mine. Makes me happy every time I fly

I had the best time ever today with my Tiger. Wind was blowing hard at my Grandparents farm. But I was determened to show my Grandma my Tiger. Grandma wants me back to fly more!!! Extra large field(17 acre), no trees, private, anyone need a friend in CT? Tomorrow will be 60 again!!!

I have been flying about two months now and just came of my first and horrible crash. Wiped out the whole heli. We had a new one up and running perfectly by noon the next day!!!!!

I wanted to do a flip but was nervous, but I said I can do it on the sim, I can do it with the Trex so why not the Tiger. So I went for it and man it was SOOOO smooth. I couldn't help myself after that. I did a big loop, some fast piros, and many more flips. This machine is AWESOME!!!!! Now I have more confidence in my machine. Starting to get an inner feeling for the controls.

You will be happy with the Tiger, Get the Hyper 50 its got balls. Customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! The reps are good people too. Welcome to the family.

Catch ya later Jeff

Shayne,

I have a header tank on mine. Most of the pics I've seen of other pilot's T50's have had header tanks. But, no matter, it is a good idea to have, helps keep bubbles out of the fuel to the carb pretty well and gives you an extra 2-3oz. of fuel capacity roughly.
