posting videos - please help?

What exactly do you mean "zip" it post it to the gallery. I have some airborne footage of my chopper ripping up and down a river bed, and some more chasing round a zagi. I would love to be able post this to my gallery, but I don't have a clue on where to begin?
Admittedly I am a troglodyte when it comes to computers.

I would love some more insight.
I have a gallery, I am using Windows XP, and the files are around 3.5 MB. Thanks for your time & patience. Your/this forum is one of the best uses of the internet that I have seen.
