| not all pitch sliders will work. i'm not sure, but maybe one of the JR heli's sliders may work, but I'm not sure. Check through http://ks.jp.org/ks_e/E_KS/index.html
I personally didn't change my tail hub/grips. The previous owner's JR-rep friend did. As to what the advantages are, right now there is no triple ball bearing grip setup from Audacity for the Tiger. The tripple bearing grip which is usually found on higher-end 50-machines and 60+ size machines can handle a bit more load (bigger blades) then a single or dual-bb grip design. The triple BB design uses two radial bearings that encapsulate a thrust bearing assembly.
With going back and forth with Clyde about the blades I have, I've determined that they are spec'ed for a 60-91 sized machine and the roots are different then the 30-50 size specific blades. The Predator/Vigor CS tail section are 60-91 sized. I'm not sure if it'd clear, but you might be able to squeeze 105s on there , but as it is, the Tiger has a substancial amount of tail authority even with 85mm blades.
