| Get yourself a Duratrax Piranha Digital peak charger off eBay or look for one used on these or other forums.
I use it to peak charge the stock 8 cell pack at 0.8 amps which is the greatest amperage that E-flite recommends charging the pack at. Takes about 45 minutes to put over 700 mAh into the pack, usually closer to 720 which results in about 12 minutes of hover time. I know the battery is rated at 650 but I routinely charge it to 720 mAh without a problem. Some on this board will tell you it's impossible to charge it that high and get 12 minute flights out of it, but I do it everyday.
Anyway this charger does a marvelous job and I got mine new off eBay for $35 plus shipping. |
