Hi Guys,

Is faster the headspeed the faster pirrouetting can be achieved besides maxed out the rudder atv?

Thanks

The limiter is the thrust of the TR the faster it is the higher the thrust. The "real" limiter is likly to be the gyro (or spittin the battery or fuel tank out)

If you've ever seen a heli zing around with the gyro reversed, you've seen what happens when the tail rotor pitch slider makes it all the way to the limit. The only thing keeping you from that kind of piro rate is the gyro.

With standard gyros, turning the gain down was useful for faster pirouettes. With HH gyros, that shouldn't be necessary... at most, it's a last resort. First turn up your rudder ATVs to the maximum your transmitter will allow. Then turn up your rudder dual rate to the maximum your transmitter will allow. Chances are, that will be fast enough. More than fast enough.

Speedup gears probably help, but then you're only talking about the difference between "spectacularly fast" and "even faster."

I don't need it really really FAST.. like some of the Fury guys pirouetting..... if i done that on my heli, i think my tail gear is going to depart from my heli.... .. last thing i needed

Hi Naomi:
The more headspeed the more tailrotor speed. The more tailrotor speed the more thrust, and the more piro rate can be acieved. Anyway My Futura piros faster in idleup than in hover mode.

Happy flying
