I was thinking of getting a new heli to replace my rap 30 V1 and i have a rap 50 V2 .

My question is the gohbee has a lot of the same parts as the rap but it is about $90.00 cheaper( with the rep discount of 7% that any one can get by entering a rep # in the gohbee home page ) is the rap worth the extra or should i just go with the gohbee

I test flew a Gobee Stinger 50 this weekend at a fun fly. What a piece of junk. The main gear mesh was horrible, the idle pulleys for the belt had way more play in them than the Raptor. The links were extremely tight. The dampning system in the head had alot of play in it. I think i would pay the difference and stick to the Raptor.

I have two stinger 50 and they blow a raptor away in forward flight and still flip great. There is a few parts that are not as good in quality as the raptor but with the money you save buying a gohbee you can replace them.

I have both, and my Raptor is cleary smoother and a better flyer then the Stinger 50. But for the money you the Stinger 50 does well as a test heli.

I have a Gohbee 50, a pretty new one, and it was built and setup "RIGHT" 100% stock and I can tell you that it did not have any of the problems some of you have mentioned here. I have had nothing but fun with this heli, and knowing its parts are so cheap really made it even more enjoyable and easy to learn those tougher maneuevers.

I do not work or recieve anything from Gohbee, I am just a customer.
I recommend it for anyone.

My Raptor had all sorts of problems straight out of the box a few years ago, then someone showed me how to build and setup properly.

The Gohbee with the new dampening system just released should be really good !

Gohbee

What is the background of this company, I just heard about them. What are all the changes to the design compared to the raptor? They have Gohbee gear...shirts, hats etc.

I have never seen any videos of any the Tiger or Gohbee being pushed as hard as I personally fly my Raptor. It is definately worth the money, and you know the Raptors are not going anywhere for some time to come. If I dare say, the Raptor is almost the Fury of the 50 class. Others talk big, but none seem to perform.
