| I was finished with another great Blade flight and letting the battery drain itself. I had the throttle somewhere between half and full when I hear a little noise. I Inspected the heli and found that the control link had popped off the swashplate. If looking at the heli from above and the nose ahead it was the servo on the right side that controls aileron roll. I snapped the link back on, there was no damage. Then I spun it up again and the same thing happened. I realize the head speed was very low, the battery was practically drained but the blades were still spinning.
Is this due to the drained state of the battery and the very low headspeed? Why has it never happened before? Is something hitting something? I manually rotated the blades and did not see any contact. I am scared that on my next flight it will pop off in the air.
Has this ever happened to anyone and what could it be? How do I ensure it won't be an issue?
Thanks. |
