| You asked if we thought it was the tail motor or something else - so I assume you are not sure,
So:
Step 1 - unplug the tail motor connector from the 4-in-1
Step 2 - unplug the main motor from the 4-in-1
Step 3 - PLUG the main motor into the channel for the tail motor on thr 4-in-1
Step 4 - power up the transmitter
Step 5 - power up the heli and let the ESC arm
Step 6 - give a little throttle and some right rudder - does the main motor (which is now acting like a tail motor) start to spin?
This will tell you if the tail motor or wiring is bad, or if the ESC for the tail motor is fried.
Use a paper clip for the shear pin.
You will not be able to see if your flybar is bent, unless you take it apart and roll it on a flat - hard surface - like glass.
You should be able to tell if your main shaft is bent by rotating the head by hand, and seeing if the swash wobbles. The swash should not move when the main shaft spins. If required, take your main rotor blades off, and apply a little throttle, and watch the head to see if it wobbles... |
