| I was running my Honeybee 2 CP with the dual tail mod for a while. I used the short Hummingbird tail motors to save some weight. They're a few grams lighter than the stock. But like iceghost said, it makes the tail pretty heavy. I had to move the batt way forward to get the CG right.
Also, you'll still burn tail motors with that setup. It takes a while, but they still fry.
On the positive side, I liked the tail authority I got with that mod. The tail was a lot more solid. Especially when I was using the 4 in 1. But when I went to separates the dual tail was causing a lot of cut outs. I guess it was drawing too much power for my 1200mah li-po. So now I'm back to just a single n30 on the tail. |
