If you are using a fuel such as Byron's with castor it may just be burnt fuel/oil on the pipe. If you are using coolpower it should not turn color. Try and clean the pipe with aluminum polish. If it is not burnt fuel on the pipe then your motor is most likely running too lean if it gets so hot that it changed colors. But, if it did get that hot how does the silicone coupler look? |
