I'm having a serious glitching problem with the 4 in 1 when the helicopter is about 10' away. I got rid of the servo glitches by using glitch reducers, but I've still got problems with the motors. Does anyone know if it is possible open up the 4 in 1 and seperate the receiver from the ESC? I thought that if it would be possible to take the receiver out and mount it somewhere else, maybe the glitches would be eliminated. Could it be that they are just too close to each other?

See this thread: http://runryder.com/helicopter/t198115p1/

and this one... http://runryder.com/helicopter/t194740p1/

I posted a comment about using two extension cables to do exactly what you are talking about. You could also use a ferrite core ring while doing it to further eliminate feedback.

BUT - if you don't have the clear-case type 4-in-1 unit, I would send the 4-in-1 unit back to Horizon and ask them to replace it with a new style unit. I am not sure what the diff is, other than the clear style unit came with better luck for me...

8/24 UPDATE - Word from the Horizon camp is that there is no difference - electronically - between the clear case and black case 4-in-1 units...
