| Ok I did not get any reply so I tried a loop first. I got over okay, but gave I gave negative pitch on top instead of neutral pitch. The result was not that pretty, but safe. I performed several more loops all from forward flight with better results. Each loop was started from about 50ft into the wind with full forward flight speed. The roll was next and I was suprized at how easy it was. Again I started from about 50ft with full forward flight speed into the wind. I rolled it over and aplyed full negative pitch. The forward speed droped off, but it rolled back over and into normal flight. I performed several more rolls and loops that flight until the battery started to drop off. I am suprized at how easy it was.
If anyone is going to try inverted for the first time I would say the roll is easier, but you have to enter it with the heli level at speed or it gets alittle ugly. The loop is not bad, but I noticed the tail would fall out some as you go over the top. The only time I got in trouble was when I entered a roll nose down from forward flight. It turned into an ugly spit s. Just enter each one from level flight at full speed into the wind about 50 or 60ft high and you sould be ok. I hope this helps anyone wanting to try inverted for the first time. |
