| I'm flying mine with Airtronics 94322 ball bearing servos, and they work just great. With CCPM, you have 3 servos working instead of just one.
I am using a Futaba GY240 gyro I had laying around, and a Hitec 525 on the tail. For a cheapo servo, it really does a great job of holding the tail straight.
You may want to make a shelf to move the battery pack forward, as the Ventures seem to come out slightly tail heavy. I made a shelf out of carbon fiber, but 1/4" ply would work equally well.
The ball on the tail rotor control arm is threaded into the plastic arm, no nut on the screw. Remove the screw, and put in a longer one that will enable you to put a nut on the back side of the arm. I have heard of guys that had the ball pull out of the arm.
Also, consider getting rid of the rubber dampners that mount the gear, and just mount the skids right to the frame bottom. The rubber dampners will shear off on anything other than a very gentle landing.
It's a good flying little heli, I love mine!
