Quique left the NATS (Where he won!! Congratulations!) on Friday and came directly to our club's airplane fun fly with wife, mother-in-law and 1 1/2 year old son in tow.
How cool is that??
I think we have determined that Quique is the CY of airplanes!
Quique is a very amazing airplane pilot and a true gentleman and a true promoter of the hobby.
Kyle certainly enjoyed it and Quique was amazed with Kyle's level of flying.
The Hirobo X-Spec performed beautifully. We love the solid feel of this machine.
Many thanks to the boys from the East that came to the fun fly.
Doorman flew a Balsa Bomber that was very impressive and of course his Hughes 500 is a always a big attraction.
Here are a couple of pics from the event.

I got to see Quique fly last fall in Alamogordo, NM. Just plain amazing!!! Did he do a snap roll upon takeoff with only an inch or two to spare between the wingtips and the ground for you?

> I have never witnessed anyone fly so smooth.

Yep, very smooth and accurate.

He did John. Best part was, it was someone else's airplane. With only three flights on it, I believe, prior to QuiQue flying it. 49% Hanger9 Pitts P12.

First Time

This was the first time that I have been able to see anyone do this type of flying, and Quique, well, he made it look so easy!!!! And he is about one of the most freindly people that you will ever meet in this hobby... so if you get the chance to see him.... GO...
As for the event itself.... this group of modelers does it right... and I am looking forward to joining them again the last weekend in August for their heli fly in....
If you have a chance to make it, I am sure you will not be sorry....

Stan,
Thanks for bringing the bomber and letting Kyle fly your Tiger 50.
He wanted to get his hands on that 500

Come on guys, come see Stan in action at our fun fly.

"Ray"

What are you doing????
You have listed my name at the front of the Elite that will be there, and it shouldn't even be on the same page!!!!!

But I have to tell you, I had a good time at the heli event last year, and now the planker event so far this year, BUT I am looking forward to being at the heli event at the end of Aug.....

If you haven't been there, this should be put on your list as a MUST ATTEND event..... this is one Great Group of Modelers and you will have a lot of fun!!!!! And isn't that what it's for????

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!
