| engine RPM dropI plan to try some 550 blades on my Nexus in the next week or two when I get a chance. I would think that the extra blade length would not make that mutch of a difference.
My guess is that either your engine is not tuned correctly and it bogs when you add collective, or you may not have the pitch curve and throttle curve setup correctly. The throttle needs to stay ahead of the pitch.
A slow throttle servo could cause this problem. If you can't seem to fix the problem in the throttle curve try this: make sure the throttle arm is on the 3rd or 4th hole out on the servo arm and on the inner hole of the carb throttle arm. This would speed up the throttle response but you would have to readjust your throttle curves.
What radio and servos are you using?
