I'm new to the 8U and need some help. On the idle up 1 & 2 switch, is it possible to reverse the front, back,(off-on) positions? Also, can this switch be assigned to another switch?

Thanks,
Allan

No that is not possible, all the Switch positions on the 8U are fixed and you can not change them.

The switch positions are fixed for this one but...........there is absolutely nothing to stop you from programming it differently. If you want to reverse it simply program normal mode as you would your idle up and program the idle up as you would normal.

I lost my infamous tag line.

For example if you don't want a seperated dual rate switch for each function such as aerolon, rudder, ect. you can assign it all to one switch as I have. It is also possible to program different percentages of expo to each flying mode.
