| Hello, recently, I fixed this little problem I had with the Corona--Main rotorblades not enough RPM and not rotating as fast as shaft is spinning--no big deal, something loose on main shaft--but, this is about the ninth time within a year this has occured. See, that screw between the swashplate and the featherplate that fits beside that notch on the shaft to keep main rotorhead spinning, wears down to the point that big notches are missing from the screw--causing loosening from main shaft. My guess is this is from "fast starts" with throttle. I have the Hacker setup and the master series of ESC, which I've read is considered a "steppy" ESC. Maybe to prevent the fast starts I should program my radio (exponential, I think), for smoother starts--I've been a bit lazy about using all the options on the radio. Is this an issue with anyone else? Thanks, Steve. |
