Would a S9001 work as a tail servo? I know it would not be good but will it work at all? If not what is the smallest futaba servo that will work? I am going to be using a GY240. Thanks for the help.

Any servo will work. If you already have the 9001, use it. If you're buying a new one... hrmmm

I havn't yet had a chance to order and replace my servos, but on my gy-401 I'm running a s148 that came with the radio. Slow as all heck, but it works. Just remember that even if you have to pop the extra $20 and wait a week to be able to do it, it will DEFINITELY be worth it to get the fastest servo you can possibly manage.
