Really nice job Bloke!

When you posted the first few photos I thought you were pulling our collective legs! The photos made it hard to believe is was scale and not full scale. I guess that's the best comment that could be made.

You are truly an artist.

A123 and a Lama

A123 and a Hirobo Lama 30

Hello Guys,

I hope you all don't mind me slipping in here to ask a question. I am new to the whole elec heli sceen. I am currently converting a 30 size Hirobo Lama to electric for scale flying only and will be litening the frame up a bit. Projected weight 8.5 to 9lbs. My setup will be at this time:
1) Hacker A30 12XL approx 690 kv
2) CC Phoenix 80 ESC
3) Main Gear ratio 9.5 to 1
4) 8 or 9 Tooth Pinion
I am interested in using A123's, but was told that these would not work for me and that I should use Lipo 2 x 3S2P 4000mah instead. My thinking is that with the speed/rate and safty that you can charge A123's that I would just build them into the Heli at the best locations for weight and balance. So please, if you are A123 knowledgeable would you make a recomendation. Thanks guys!
