I posted this subject several days ago and I double checked my self and I still have the same problem. What happens is I set pitch fs to +1 then I waited about 3minutes before disconecting the dsc cord from the tx. I first did it at full up collective and when it went into fs the pitch was at +3.75. when I tested fs at full down collective it went to +2. I am using the flybar lock and all the linkage has no slop. Anybody else have this problem I wrote Horizon at the beginning of this week and haven't heard back. I guess it's time to make a call, I just wanted to check with the all wise and all knowing RunRyder audience first. Thanks in advance.

I tried it again

This time I tried fs at -1, then at full up collective, when I shut the tx off it went to +2 and at full down it went to -1 like it was supposed to. This is not good.

Have you tried it without the DSC cord ?

Perhaps there is some quirk when the cord is connected. I'd give it a go if I were you. I'm sure if there were some quirk of fail safe on the 10X that people would know about it by now. Also, I'd give it a go with a different receiver. Since the failsafe position is stored in the RX after power up, it could be the RX rather than the TX that has a problem

Although I haven't tried the DSC cord on my 10X yet, I have setup a few models now and check them all regularly - all FS settings are fine.

Don't suppose it could be in the linkage from the servo, or even the servo itself could it?

Richard.
P.S. My 10X is around 6 months old.

Well I know it isn't in the linkage and as far as the servo I have no idea how I would check that. I tried it without the cord and had the same result. I guess I will have to leave it up to Horizon. thanks guys

Well I'm stumped, I tought is was a PCM issue. I have two 955's. My failsafe work as it should. Let us know what the solution is.
