| main motor arching cause of RF noise?ppridday - I've had my BCP for a few weeks. That's a long time for *any* part to last ;-) - my original blades are still flyable, tho I did sand off the last 1/4" or so with my belt/disc sander. Yes, I did balanace them after words and put some CA on the end.
I did get an occasional glitch but since putting the heat sinks on the motors, changing the motor to the 9T pinion motor (which I did the "water break-in" procedure) and adding some heat sink compound, the glitching has been staying away. Main motor is still too hot, in my opinion. I still have the orig. antenna wrap.
Is it possible that the glitching could be caused by the motor's commutator/brushes arching? My water break-in may have reduced this enough to stop the glitching, if this indeed the source of RF noise.
