| Blades & Throttle CurveI have a YS 91 so my experiences are based on that. If the engine is new, I would break it in without using the governor, especially if the motor is being correctly run in 'rich'. Also, dependng on blades, you may have to be less aggressive on the pitch curve as the Avant will be more pitch sensitive in general, because of the head modifications.
I run V blades, and have found that through trial and error.
PS - Make sure you do a perfect initial set up on the swash, check the pitch range you are getting - and make the necessary changes to limit mechanical pitch range before you dial in the curves!
Good luck!
